Our standards
What we commit to, before we ask for anything.
These are design commitments we hold ourselves to on every building we take on. Once a hall is operating, its measured figures are published here in the same place.
| Commitment | Standard | What it means on the ground |
|---|---|---|
| Land taken | None | We work inside an existing building envelope. The footprint does not grow. |
| Cooling | Closed loop | Charged once, then recirculated. No ongoing draw on the municipal water supply. |
| Noise | Contained | Equipment is contained inside the shell, not mounted in open yards. |
| Power drawn | As entitled | Sized to the service the site already has, not to what we wish it had. |
| Supplemental generation | Low emission | Fuel-flexible units where needed, sized to the site and no larger. |
| Building fabric | Improved | Roof, drainage, paving and landscaping brought up to standard as part of the work. |
| Operations | In house | Our own staff on site. We are the long-term owner, not a developer passing it on. |
Why these are commitments, not measurements
No Junction Halls building is operating yet. Publishing measured performance for a hall that does not exist would be worth nothing to you, so we have not done it.
What we can do is state the standard we intend to be held to, in public, before we ask a landowner or a community for anything. When the first hall is commissioned, its measured performance is published on this page and updated from then on, whether or not it flatters us.

Tell us about the building.
Whether you own it, represent it, or simply live near it, we would rather hear from you early than late.
